Bear Lake

Another fun summer trip we had was going to Bear Lake with Scottie's Family. It was our first time there, and boy and boy did we love it. The water was gorgeous (called the Caribbean of the Rocky's), we had perfect weather, and loved spending time together. The boys went fishing, we visited my dear friend Steph, tried as many raspberry milkshakes as possible, and watched an amazing meteor shower as a family. 

 Thursday we arrived at Bear Lake, had fun checking out the house we stayed at, and then went to the beach to let Maddie play. 

 We let Maddie swim around in her clothes and she thought it was the coolest thing ever. Yep, me that crazy type A parent relaxed on vacation and let Maddie do the unthinkable! LOL

 That night we went to dinner at La Beau's. We got burgers and yummy "famous" raspberry milkshakes. I think Quick and Tasty was my fav place for shakes tho.

 Friday we all went to North Beach to play on the water trampoline Grandma Tracy had rented. It was a blast to watch Grandpa Groovy do back-flips!  

 After that we went with Gpa and Jason to Bloomington for a little hike to a really fun rope swing.

Even though the water was freezing there, it was super fun.

 Friday night we went and met up with the Harts. We enjoyed chatting and letting the kids all play together. Bear Lake is where Steph is from, so it was so fun to finally see the place, I have heard so much about. 

Fun with cousins! I love how much Maddie adores her Zaugg cousins. They all play so well together! 

 Saturday we went back to North Beach for some more beach fun. We had kayaks, a wave runner, and lots of sand toys.

 Sunday we loaded up, went to church, and then came back home. It was a super fun and relaxing trip.
