Getting Ready

A big part of getting ready for McKenzie to join our family was transitioning Madison to a BIG GIRL BED in a new room. Once we found out we were having another girl, we decided to keep the nursery the same so we went to work on redoing one of our extra bedrooms. Here are some pictures to document the process:

The Process
Painting
Mom painted this lamp=gold to white. Also painted a table white for your dollhouse.
Daddy setting up the new furniture
BOOM we found your bedroom set for a steal of a deal at Furniture Warehouse and love how girlie it is.
Miss Madison loves her new room
 Decorating!
 Making the transition
Saying goodbye to the place you slept for the past 4 years
Moving over to your new room and bed!!! You were so excited and READY.
 First night
 The finished product, HOORAY!!!
Now this crib is all ready for sweet baby Kenzie!
I sorted and washed Madison's baby clothes and it honestly blows my mind to think she was ever this small. Also it's crazy to think we will have a little one joining us in 3 weeks who will fit these precious mini-sized outfits again.
Maddie came home from the hospital in this dress.
So tiny at 5lbs 6oz
Now we're all set for our next tiny miracle to fill this room, and yes I will replace the Maddie pics once I have McKenzie ones to put in:)
These pics on the bookshelf are all of Kenzie's ultrasounds
Excited to see when Miss McKenzie makes her big debut! D day=3 weeks, 2 days and counting:)
