I can't believe it, but McKenzie Lynn Parker is a month old! She certainly has been heaven sent and is a much anticipated addition to our family. After not having a newborn for 4 1/2 years, it has been fun for me to re-remember how it all goes, and Scottie and I have had fun asking each other if Madison did this __(fill in the blank with all the things babies do).
McKenzie LOVES eating, sleeping, and pooping. She also really loves her sister and already turns her head to the sound of Madison's voice. Kenzie also smiles a ton (maybe it's not on purpose yet, but we all love it) and is starting to give me 5-6 hours of sleep at night! She also rolled over from tummy to back at 3 1/2 weeks old, yet to be done again-Scottie, Maddie, and I all witnessed it though. What else about this 1 month old...oh yes she has gained almost three pounds, hence the LOVE of eating!

It blows my mind how much babies change from month to month, especially from birth to a month. McKenzie is chunking up for sure, which is always a relief to a breastfeeding mom.

4 weeks old=freedom!!! Well the end of our quarantine. We went out for a family outing on labor day and had a picnic and played tennis at the park.
