McKenzie's 18 Month Happenings

I ask myself all the time where did the last 18 months go! The past year and a half has been so wonderful and we have loved adding Kenzie to our family. She adds more joy the we ever could have expected and is captivating for us all to watch. We all get so excited when she reaches a new milestone! She loves us all unconditionally, is the perfect little sister, and so very fun. Enjoy her most recent update!

Peanut Pics-18 Months 

 18 month stats:

Weight 21 lbs 8 oz 25%

Height 31.5 in 25%

Head 18 in 25%

New Milestones:

 5 1/2 new teeth 

(2 top and  1 1/2 bottom molars and 2 lateral incisors on the bottom)

1st piggy tail in hair

17 months tried nursery and loved it

18 months doesn't love nursery, figured out we leave her

Gates all down and goes up and down stairs well

Starting to push :(

We started 1 min time outs because of said pushing

Still has bottle-resisted when I tried to take it away at 16 months

Points to eyes, ears, mouth, nose, hair, toes, belly button, and fingers

Sings when you to tell her to

17 months went poop on the potty for the 1st time (1-11-18)

Has continued to do so 8/10 times

Has over 25 words

New words: Cheese, Please, Tickle Tickle, Treat, Sis, Bye-Bye, Peek-a-boos Snow, and signs thank you

Starting to use fork and spoon

Maddie made Kenzie a Dementor (Harry Potter reference)

Not the greatest picture, but I want to remember the way Kenzie holds her arm up to keep her purse on. Maddie did the same thing.

Unofficial nursery

Kenzie gets so excited when Daddy come home from work! 

After she hears the garage door open, she gets the biggest smile and runs to the front door saying Dad. 

First time coming to sisters school to help with an activity. The kids loved her. 

1st babysitter- Anna watches Kenzie while she naps and Maddie is at dance

We sold the single BOB. It was bitter sweet

Officially in nursery- don't let her fool you. She's looking at me to make sure I won't leave! 

Valentines 

Learned how to play peek a boo with my curtain! It's so very cute.
