Madison's 10 Month Happenings

Today is Maddie's 10 Month birthday!!! It seems like I was just doing her 9 month update, and I can't believe another month has already past. Time really is flying by and I want to freeze each phase of Maddie's life (my friend calls this the incubator) and then pull it out and play with her when I miss it! This has been a fun month with many firsts, but first Maddie's 10 month photoshoot with Tinker Bell.

 First Thanksgiving-Maddie got to celebrate her first Thanksgiving ever with my sister's sweet family who came to our place to spend Thanksgiving with us.

Next First: Cutting down our Parker Family Christmas tree

The holidays are so much more fun with a little one to share them with! I can't get over how excited I am for Maddie to get to experience everything for the first time. I love watching her reactions and introducing her to new traditions!!!

We looked around the tree farm for quite a while to only confirm that we loved the blue spruce Scottie found within 5 minutes of looking. Bless my sweet hubby for being willing to keep looking to make sure we "really" found the right one.

We also decorated our neighbors door with a North Pole Theme-Loved the way it turned out!

Maddie's FIRST SNOW!!!- I looked out the window Friday morning to discover snow, and I was instantly excited for Madison to experience it for the first time. We quickly got bundled up so Maddie could see what it was like.

To be honest she wasn't quite sure what she thought. It was cold, wet, and windy and she kept looking at me, "like Mom what are you doing to me? I have never been this cold before!"

Once we were safely back inside she really liked looking at it, and would get the biggest smile on her face when she would watch the snow fall.

A really EXCITING FIRST: Maddie meeting Santa Claus

Soooooooo Maddie has a stranger danger thing going on, so we were sure she would freak out upon meeting "The Man" dressed in red wearing a hat (oh by the way Maddie hates when people were hats). But to our surprise she did a really good job and even sat on his lap!

Not the greatest picture, but SEE MADISON IS ON SANTA'S LAP...yes she does look like she is trying to get away, but no she stayed on there long enough for Scottie to change the batteries on our blasted camera. LOL.
